Karachi: Information Minister of Sindh Syed Nasir Hussain Shah inaugurated a campaign in difference districts of Sindh at Al-Mustafa Medical Center, Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Former Federal Minister and Chairman Al-Mustafa Welfare Society Dr. Haji Hanif Tayyab, President Dr. Abdul Raheem, General Secretary Abdul Ghani, Suleman Moin Khan, Ahmed Raza Tayyab and Abdul Ghaffar Saeedi were also present on the occasion.
The campaign is the largest in remote and distant areas of Pakistan providing Operations and eye testing facilities. During the campaign more than 2 lac people shall be examined and treated for eyesight problems. It is estimated that so far around 20,000 people were operated for Cataract.
Launching from Karachi, Sindh operations is carrying out in Al-Mustafa Medical Centers Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Shah Faisal Colony, Malir, Baldia Town and Orangi. Further the campaign will be taked to Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Nawabshah, Tandojam, Shahpur chakar, Kandhkot and Jacobabad.
Provincial Information Minister while appreciating the standard of Al-Mustafa Medical Center said that they are providing health facilities similar to private hospitals, such organizations are great privilege for poor and needy people.
Chairman Al-Mustafa Medical Center Dr. Haji Mohammad Hanif Tayyab expressed his gratitude to the honorable guests.
He mentioned that Al-Mustafa Welfare Society is serving since last many years in the field of eye vision and conducting operations in country wide campaign, he also added that the campaigns are sponsored and supported by Al-Mustafa Welfare Trust United Kingdom under the leadership of UK Chairman Abdul Razzak Sajid and his team, who deserves lot of appreciations.
